I wish to registar my concern regarding the proposed ban on chassis protectors in 2010. Whilst I understand that there may be a safety issue, these are inexpensive items which provide excellent protection to the underside of the chassis. Without such devices the chassis can becomes damaged leading to lack of performance and ultimately prematurely requireing replacement of the chassis. A cost that I and many other competitors can not afford.

It is my belief that this regulation change will lead to many competitors leaving the sport.
