Yesterday we raced at Rye House, the weather was atrocious and allowances must be made for some of the contact that took place but why is no action taken by officials when it is clear that some drivers are employing dirty driving tactics, I know Hoddesdon likes to be known as the friendly club and having raced there myself over the last 40 years think the people are fantastic but if drivers are continue to get away with this sort of driving, Rye House will finish up with just these drivers. I reported an incident to the clerk of the course after seeing my driver taken out on the second lap when he was used as a brake by another driver, after interviewing both drivers it was decided that a warning would be issued and the driver concerned watched for the rest of the meeting, all very well but it did not put my driver back on the track or take the advantage gained away from the driver who committed the offence. In the final this very same driver committed the very same offence on another driver, the father of the driver punted off of the track reported it to the clerk of the course and was told that they had a report of the incident from an observer and they would be taking action. Today I look at the race results on UK Karting and find that this driver still appears in the results so it would appear that again no action was taken. What do you have to do to ensure that justice prevails or do you instruct your driver to employ these tactics and sink to the level of these drivers who continue to break the rules without being penalised?
