This may be a simplistic view, but why don't they just raise the minimum wheight limit for all cadets to allow older heavier drivers to race on a level playing field with the younger guys. Surely for cadets, more than any other class, where there are going to be a wide range of sizes and weights due to the unavoidable process of growing up, there should be a wheight limit that is achievable for everybody. It is a shame if children who grow early or are very tall are penalised at such a young age. If chasis are also too small can't there just be a larger range of chasis sizes allowed in cadets without making a whole extra class? As for performance, cadets are hardly slow! Even adults would enjoy racing at those speeds, if they were not already used to racing faster karts. I am sure that there is no need for yet more classes, and yet more expensive class changes for parents.
