Weren't the tyres changed in TKM years ago? What happened then? I'd guess that without Internet chat forums back then, speculation was not quite so rife.
The choice of chassis was possibly worse in the past? Many manufacturers homologated chassis and many homologated more than one. I accept that the rules were quite strict in the past but I don't see the future as being any worse than TKM's busiest days. Wasn't there always a period of uncertainty in the few months following a new homologation period? I have only been racing TKM for a few years now so I'll happily be corrected on this.
I'm personally enjoying the wait for next year whilst I'm not wasting any emotional energy in deciding what is going to be the best chassis. There are/ will be plenty of people testing various karts in various configurations and I’ll just follow them in what works best.
