I am looking at starting TKM next season and have been reading about the new changes and one of the things I've seen is to do with the axles and allowing 50mm now.

So was it previously 30 and 40mm axles allowed? What difference does the size of the axle make? Is it basically the TKM chassis have 40mm and the CIK chassis 50mm?
