The main reason I thought behind this was to get more people into TKM due to being able to use what they already have or can get 2nd hand cheaply.
The people who want to be at the very top will still spend and test regardless so no change there then.
I cannot see this making much difference to the average clubbie who wants cheap and cheerful fun once a month and good grids.
The tyres hopefully will wear the same as the existing , 2-3 meetings per set.
And as for the chassis issues, I cannot see it making big time differences to the average clubbie. You wont see a mid pack runner suddenly getting the lap record because of a chassis , conversely a top runner suddenly being back of the pack due to a chassis. A chassis will make a difference when it suits a drivers style , apart from that a couple of 10ths I would of thought.
