Have you got a radio on your kart?

If not, don't worry about 'r' plugs!

I use a carborundum hone to glaze bust bores and it works just fine.

Just a light up and down will do the trick and make sure you thoroughly clean the cylinder afterwards.

A Nikasil finish requires a diamond hone as it is a very hard finish.

Use a scotchbrite with WD40 just to deglaze the bore.

if the crosshatch is missing, then the bore is worn anyway.

Do not use a ball hone on a 2 stroke as it can catch in the ports and can pickup the plating on the port edges.
