Simon, From previous threads I know it was the MSA not Ron Shone who wanted to slow the class down and do it for all the wrong reasons. The reasons were due to poor clerking at Larkhall. I agree slowing the class down by restrictor changes or tyre changes as you say does not resolve the real issue (poor driving standards) When the restrictor change was annouced there was allot of opposition to it. I do not think for one minute that the MSA will go back on the decision they have made, as the new restrictors have slowed the class down. However the issue now is that this new restrictor range is not evenly matched and needs fine tuning to make the racing in the class a level playing field again. I was therefore suggesting that all those drivers who have been affected by it make Ron aware of it, and he will then hopefully make adjustments to the smaller restrictors to bring them level on performance with the bigger ones as it previously was.
