They are not evenly matched thats for sure. The new Pink restrictor and smaller is not producing enough power to be as competetive as the larger restrictors in the range. Going down a restrictor size and adding weight has not worked for smaller restrictor sizes. Some of the usual front runners using the pink restrictor were not not on the pace at Hooton. It needs re-evaluating to bring it back to racing on a level playing field again as it was before. A fair few drivers have said they wont race junior blue next year if its not changed. What a shame after the class has grown into one of the biggest and most competetive grids at the meeting.
