Alan-

Easykart Format is:

Practice 10mins
2 x Timed Qualifying each 12mins
Pre Final 15 or 20 laps*
Final 20 or 25laps*

*(dependent on circuit length)

It's a lot more track time than a typical MSA meeting. Timed qualifying does tend to mean much lower damage bills than running heats - but 2 long finals gives plenty of chance for good quality racing.

Indeed, Easykart is very restrictive on what parts can be used which is what prevents it from being a chequebook class and keeps a level playing field.
