I see your point. but if there was no grease allowed. it would be easier to tell who was cheating we can all tell a slipping clutch and we have the random 3000 rpm check etc. but at the moment it is difficult to tell. as they are all slipping and there is a vasgue excuse for it.
however what we fail to reliase is that the grease situation allows the proper cheats to go to much further lengths disguised under the grease fiasco.
I actually over heard somebody commeting at rissy that "that welded spring in the clutch is the B****s" so you may think you are levelling the playing field but when your grease has burnt off others are merrily slipping away, and the scruts, just assume its grease.
Now if slipping is not an option the cheats would stand out and we could protest without fear of ambiguity.
Not wanting to argue for the sake of it just how I see it.
we know when we are at the track, after all if your dropping 2 tenths or 100 yards out of a corner to the kart in front, well somethings not right. however grease just throws confusion in for cheats.
Do I make sense?
