Jamie / Iain I can appreciate your comments, and I would agree with you regarding the tyres if there was a total revamp of the restrictors that worked making it a level playing field. The introduction of the later tyre made up for a shortfall in the junior class that evened out track performance. Previously the lighter drivers were slightly disadvantaged to the heavier driver who were able to achieve more grip from the older tyre as opposed to the small lighter drivers. No such problem in seniors as even the smaller drivers are near the top end of the junior weight restrictor scale in comparison. The later tyres have helped to bring the class on a more level playing field irrelevant if it easier to drive or not. Again we get back to the issue for this change and that is that the inability to sort out a minority of drivers at one track. With respect Iain the MSA have gone about this the wrong way and I hope they reconsider the situation for 2010.
