Did you even read my message! I am perfectly aware that karting is dying, Iv been racing 12 years myself and in that time it has decreased in numbers a lot but not just in TKM, across the whole board. I also didnt say a do nothing approach either, It is obvious they want red tyres, etc to gain speed in the class and i suggested it is done in different ways such as engine mods, carbs, maybe a more stickier tyre without starting over which will lose drivers! FACT! Also i suggested more promotion, and a tempting championship like stars to get cadet drivers up into it.
As for point 1: tony, jkh, Klassens new chassis, Jade, Talko and probs some more. plenty to choose from, it doesnt matter how many are homologated so long as they are good, affordable and available, jkh and tony proving to be the best atm hence why drivers run them and nothing else. Others need to develop a more competitive chassis and they'd get the money too. You wanna buy the best! They have abandoned the class as other chassis are more competitive, they could make lots of money if they got it right surely.
as for point 2: its my opinion and I think it wouldn't be a good idea. mixing 1st time drivers with experienced on a test day causes problems sometimes, they spin infront of u, aren't aware and in my opinion can be dangerous. the test is there to show u are up to a safe standard to race. club 100 is arrive and drive not MSA, totally different in my opinion.
