The 8.5 comes as standard now.

It's only a carburetor not a Longine mechanical watch.

Sorry but I just don't buy this 'must have a Ricard, Grice or Carr tuned carburetor to hire at huge prices.

They seal the carbs so the only thing you can change is the main jet.

OOOoooooohhhhh such deep science going on there.

So what happens if the scrut wants to strip your carb?

Do you end up with a penalty charge when you return it?

The only bits you normally change are the main jet, float height and needle height. and maybe the air screw.

So what is so special about hire carbs?
