are you talking about the "ackerman" effect of the steering?

this is a very important part of racing and setting up a kart as there is no differential on the rear axle

when you turn the wheel,press the front wheel that pops up down to the ground and watch the rear wheel pop up.a rear wheel needs to give or lift in order for the kart to turn

very sorry if im assuming you dont know this and im patronising you but im guessing this is what you were meaning
