tkm exhaust, we race comer and it splits into 3 parts, not the engine spigot though! if you can get the muffler off and get into the chamber so you can clean the excess carbon off without having to tap the exhaust as it dints it and will look sh.it.e.as i said a long wire brush and a long small scraper are best to scratch of the carbon once fired.

as for performance, a clogged exhaust will limit performance. ever put your hand over an exhaust? it chokes the engine as it cant breath. so it might be a small benefit, but it should make some difference especially if you havent cleaned it in 2yrs.
