Obviously safety is the primary issue here. But nowhere is it mentioned that the Zip wedge shape front bumper makes it much easier for drivers to cheat and subtlely lift the back of a competitors kart, just enough to run them wide and pass.

I would suggest that any opposition to changing will come because of the obvious known benefits to some of this.
