hes asking what the best thing for his lad to do if a kart spins directly infront of him, and the short answer is that it is mostly luck if he makes it past and as he gets older and more confident his natural reactions will take over and hell be able to react quicker to the situation.
i suspect you have been watching days of thunder or something like, to suggest putting his foot down and heading thru the smoke hoping to reamerge from the carnage!
i know that my lad, whos only been racing for a year now and is only nine used to crash all the time, if there was an incident it always seemed to involve him, its really frustrating, but as hes got older and better he now seems to be less involved, in fact i cant remember (touch wood) the last time he was involved in a bump.
give it time and he will overcome the situations put infront of him, its amazing how quick they learn.
