As has been stated by others, what I am saying is commonsense, and it doesn't take on track success to be able to work out the logic of it. However, since it seems to be of concern to you, my results are as follows:

1972 NatSKA Sprint Championship Class 100 Rotary: 3rd
1975 Hoddesdon Kart Club Championship Class 100 International : 2nd

1979 Dunlop Star of Tomorrow FF1600 Championship: 7th

1981 Hoddesdon Kart Club Championship Class 100 Britain : 2nd (Self built kart)

1981 All England Championship Class 100 Britain: 1st (Self built kart)

1983 All England Championship Class 100 Britain: 1st (Self built kart)

1984 Global Cup Class 100 Britain: 1st

1984 British Championship Class 100 Britain: 10th

1986 Kart & Superkart 100 National Championship: 2nd

1992 Hoddesdon Kart Club Championship Class 100 Britain Traditional : 1st

Plus 1st at approximately 45 club meetings over the years.

Tyres used: Continental / Carlisle / Goodyear Bluestreak (USA & German) / Bridgestone / Vega / Cheng-Shin / Maxxis.
