These posts aren't meant to sound arrogant, its just the truth - a majority do put on new slicks for sunday. You seem to assume so much.
Why do you think you would be trailing around at the back with older red slicks, you haven't even seen the red slicks in action.
Also i don't think you'll find many people in TKM who are rich or well off, so its quite discriminatory to assume people who put new tyres on are rich or have lots of money. And you dont have to run in a team to have to buy new slicks.
If you look at shenington kimbolton whilton mill grids majority have new tyres on sunday morning.

The point im trying to make is people say oh you have to buy new tyres more often if we use red slicks - most people buy new tyres often anyway.
Also no one has seen the durability of red slicks on TKM 2stoke so why make assumations that you wont be competitive against drivers with new tyres. You dont moan when someone in your race puts new green slicks on do you? so why now when you havent even tested 2/3 race old red slicks!!

Its the first step Tal ko could make to revive this class
