I am interested to hear opinions on the effect higher summer temperatures might have on gearing, particularly for the cadet class. On one hand SL tyres will come on a lot quicker in the summer so assumming the driver is using the extra grip to exit the corners faster you would think it might be best to drop a tooth or two. On the other hand with all the extra grip and the SL tyres picking up the softer rubber perhaps it's necessary to increase teeth to stop the engine bogging down. I would be interested in tips and opinions on this. Thanks
