A 3 series engine is very old possibly pre 1990, but not always such a bad thing. The new engines now are about no. 6700 ish now. A super 1 engine is probably better maintained than a clubby engine. I would say anyone in s1 is looking for absolute speed and reliability, but he will want more dosh usually. Not sure on the extreme bore sizes but if you go on Talko website must be there somewhere.
