Rubbish!
Forget ALL about lasers, they are a TOTAL WASTE of MONEY! They are for POSERS!
1) Borrow mum's/dad's tape measure 2) Borrow a small piece of chalk or ANYTHING to make a visible mark on a tyre. 3) Mark BOTH front tyres with a small dot or line that you can see. 4) Rotate BOTH tyres so that the dots are as far forward as you can manage (the nose cone MAY get in the way so you MAY have to rotate back a fraction 5) Place the end of the tapemeaure on one of the marks and measure the EXACT distance to the OTHER mark. 6) Now rotate the wheels so that the dots are as far BACKWARD as they can go and re-measure the distance! 7) Subtract one measurement from the other and you will have the EXACT measurement(as accurately as ANYONE needs to know the measurement) of the Toe-In /Toe Out!
If you are a REAL cheapskate (like me!), forget the chalk! You can simply take ANY visible mark on the surface of each tyre and measure between those SO LONG as you can be SURE that you have used the same mark on the SAME tyre for each measurement. It does NOT matter if you measure the OUTSIDE of one tyre and the INSIDE of another. All you need to know is by how MUCH that has changed by rotating the tyre backward!
