I don't race myself but my kids do and it would be great for them to be able to compete on a level playing field. At least that way talent will shine through as apposed to how much cash daddy does or doesn't have. The 09 barrels look like a cheap option to get a playing field that is more level than it is now.

I always thought I had plenty of disposable income but I have found out that I'm probably a few thousand pounds a week short of where I need to be to even begin to give my kids a chance.

Not sour grapes mind just wishful thinking on behalf of the kids. We do enjoy the racing but it would be nice to not be disadvantages so much because of the cost of getting a monster motor to be in with a slight chance of getting up there with the rest of the guys.

Dont get me wrong I don't think my kids are the next Lewis Hamilton but they sure arn't Massa. :-) (A dig nothing more I'm not a Ferrari fan.)

I'm sure I am not the only one on here that feels this way. I really don't like being treated like a substandard person. If I got this type of service from any other company I would take my business elswhere in a heartbeat. Can't do that if you race in Rotax though.
