Our Matt maxed out on our bt82 at fulbeck on the Junior NKF at 17,400 rpm, won most of the races and the final, but to our cost main bearings were stuffed and replaced after that. NOT recomended to rev this high. We try to keep it under 16,300. The rev limiter is a good idea but on those odd occasions it could be a " hindrance".
