We have retired after 13 years racing, but keep in touch, still go practicing and enjoy it and if the weather forecast was a little better today we would have been at Larkhall, and I was going to try "the grease" being one who used to remove it thinking my son would go slower, however back to my point. Simply ask for clarification at Drivers briefing as it is a grey area if you ask "Can we grease the clutch" surely yes or no will be answered by the Clerk for the day. And don,t be scared to ask because someone MAY think you are cheating as on reading this thread it is quite clearly is NOT clear
