The same problem must exist in KF but we do not get endless threads bleating about it or disrupted meetings with all of the gris assembling with their kart in bits so why not just let everyone get on as they are, those that want to cheat will always cheat and if not with the clutch they will find somthing else. The Rotax bulletin is quite clear in that the kart and driver must move forwards on a level surface at no more than 3000 revs. If you believe that this will prove the clutch to be legal everyone is happy except the cheats will still make the clutch comply with this yey still slip until well into the power band, therefore you will always have the problem. The best way is post race scruit when the officials have listened to the revvy engines and if the copetitor is then found to have modified the clutch in any way to cause the slippage they go home and gain licence points. If the problem is as widespread as we are told then we will ultimately end up with some thin grids but no cheaters! p.s. Alan are you making the trip west in a fortnight with Mark & Jack? It would be nice to put a face to alanrr.
