What i see is that come the final you get some drivers who are in their opinion out of position on the grid, i.e they feel they should be nearer the front, because they've had a bad heat, probably due to coming off worse when trying to bludgeon their way through from the back. So they think the only way to get a good finish is to cause as much chaos in front to enable them to get onto the leaders before they get away. Usually the first three rows give reasonable room, but it is the surging pack who know they need to displace the lads at the front to be in with a chance. So it's down to pushy parent whose spent a fortune not to be halfway down the grid, encouraging the big hit in turn 1 because no-one is going to see it. How you stop it i don't know. . .
