Would it make sense to use a flashing red 3 / 4 LED lamp on the back of a kart in wet conditions? Visibility is near zero in the spray of wet race conditions, so it makes sense to me, and with the easy availability of 3 or 4 LED flash or steady lights for push bikes at £5 to £10 it is not exactly an expensive addition. Are there any good reasons why not? I can't see glare being an issue. The positioning and use would have to be controlled so everybody did the same thing, but surely its better to have a clue if theres a kart just in front of you giving you a chance to avoid it? So far as I know, all formula cars have it - and it has saved countless collisions - so why not karts?
