If you mean simply replacing the piston with one SLIGHTLY larger (the standard meaning of re-boring) then the 'gain' with be microscopic. If your existing bore is not straight, smooth and the piston is flopping about with kn*ckered rings, then you WILL get a slight improvement.

If you mean re-baring a 100 cc motor to give you 125cc and fitting a MASSIVELY oversized piston, then you MIGHT get more power. More likely, you'll get an engine that has lost SO much of it's barrel that it won't work for many laps!
