hello there
bit the bullet and bought a new clutch which was fitted on the weekend and used at the 1st dunks meeting.
a couple of questions
when the clutch bolts were being tightened to the 20mn advised in the book, 2 of the bolts broke. one snapped clean away and the other sheared considerably. because of this i dont want to to keep taking the block on and off without a supply of bolts ready in case they break again. i believe the bolt is a allen screw M6X16mm. can i buy lots of these bolts from a nut nad bolt supplier or are these bolts made from a specific material and should only buy from a kart shop.
what maintenance do i need to do to the new clutch. i assume brake clean the block and backplate and drum. do you need to blow through the block cuts.
any help greatly appreciated
thanks
adrian
