I have both and would only recommend the mychron 4. If budget is a major consideration then I'd rather miss a test day to pay the little extra for the mychron. All the reasons why have been covered many times before on here but essentially, the mychron is much easier to use, displays the information in a much better way and has a very useful download facility and software.

Have a search through previous posts on the subject and it seems pretty conclusive that the majority prefer the mychron.

I bought mine from the shop at my local kart track slightly cheaper than what I could find one on line but they are available from most of the major on line retailers.
