I beg to differ about requiring 2 engines.

Anyway, definately move up, that extra year of experience will definately help, quite a bit of new stuff with the jetting and everything.

Rather than buying an engine off the shelf and forking out £1600 or however much they are, I would go and buy a good strong proven engine for up to £1400 and spend the extra £200 to get a slightly better chassis. I would buy second hand again, I got a Tony Kart EVXX for £800, which is 2008s model, so shows what you can get for your money. Obviously if your budget isn't this high, you can go for an older chassis and a less competitive engine, but I think your better to buy a proven engine than an "off the shelf engine". Although with all this 09 barrel speculation, who knows?

Hope this helps in someway!
