Rotax have stopped sourcing of the old ones so with the offer they have up til end of April it may be prudent to look at.

The clutches from 2008 seemed a lot worse than previous years, but I must say that in 10 years of Rotax I have gone through about 5 snapped pins, maybe lucky maybe not? I alwways just clean thoroughly after use with brake cleaner, but I am sure others will give you advice on what works for you.

The new ones are as yet unproven in UK but from early impression they will be much stronger and more reliable sofor piece of mind you may be better going that route.
