Thanks for the replies everyone. I was thinking along the lines of if its an advantage to use fuel with a higher oxygen content then surely its worth always using the certain brands that average a higher oxygen content. I realise its going to vary slightly on a daily basis and pump fuel isn't that well controlled. In hindsight though it was a bit naive to expect sombody to come straight out with yes its an advantage on a public forum!
With regards to jetting though i'm assuming the higher the oxygen content the richer you will have to run the motor. Do programs like jet tech take this into account though as my understanding is if you fine tune the program to match your engine using one brand with say 0.5% oxygen content then the next meeting you use a brand with 2.7% oxygen content surely the jetting the program suggests will be based on the calibration using the previous fuel. Hope that makes sense, I don't actually use jet tech at the moment but am looking at buying it in the near future as i've got to the stage now where I am searching for tenths hence my interest in all this. I'm sure jon will be along to correct me now in a minute as well and explain I'm all wrong!
