The cylinders (commencing February production) are going to now include CNC machining as described below:-

· CNC machining all around the exhaust port to further minimize the tolerances of exhaust port timing

· CNC machining of the chamfer around the exhaust port to minimize variation of appearance and to improve durability of the piston and ring

· CNC machining on the top edge of the central boost port to minimize the tolerance of port timing

· CNC machining all around the exhaust port which will allow the technical scrutineer to confirm the original condition of the cylinder

Rotax have advised that these cylinders have been carefully tested and developed to ensure that the power output is the same as well performing legal cylinders that are already on the market.
