Agree with Chris to some extent, although when we get a Carb that is running well, tend to leave it alone for a good few meetings. although we always check the filter in the carb on a regular basis. 312ml oil is way too much, regardless of what Tal-Ko say, (they are bound to protect themselves). Try 275ml oil to 5 litres and you won't go far wrong. Run the Low Jet at 2 turns and the high jet at 1/8th.
