To save spending the money on a weather station you can get someone to go online and find a met report for aviation. All you need to do is find the regional pressure setting(QNH) which is referenced to sea level then reduce the pressure by 1 millibar per 31 feet above sea level and that will give you the pressure to use in a calculation. you do need to find your hieght above sea level but that is not difficult from OS maps or even google earth for the few locations you might use. I you dont mind spending money though, buy a weather station which give the temp as well.
