.. there is no way to FULLY maching all the surfaces of the transfer ports.
So CSA, surface finish, and radii etc will remain "as cast" ....unless someone tickles them with a flex grinder !!

But even machining the port openings in the Rotax barrel is quite a task and i doubt they will do little more than clean up the top edges .
