It tells you the barrel year on it, in the circle and the dots in the clock face are the month of manufacture. That not to say it wont be quick, like all years thee are good and bad ones. We have an 08 brand new unrun I just put the new clutch on and may wait and fit the new barrel once there is some evidence they are better, have to wait and see. Its to bloody cold to race just now anyway [ thats dad speaking]
