You may know that NJB and I do NOT get along well and we both think the other is an idiot!

..... however, he has won (well.,.... his TEAM have won) loads of championships. You'd have to say that would indicate that he KNOWS what he's talking about!

Yet HE has paid LARGE sums for engines in the past. He seems to think that there IS a significant difference between engines or else WHY would he have PAID large sums for them?

It's long been my argument that there is LESS difference between the best and worse TKMS than there is between the best and the worst Rotax. It is believed that you CAN 'set-up' MANY TKMS to be almost the equal of the BEST TKM. However, it's been argued that you simply CANNOT 'work' a 'poor' Rotax UP to the level of the best..... hence the reason why the RARE 'good' Rotax commands LUDICROUS prices! You claim that proper 'set-up' will remove those differences on a Rotax BUT that is NOT born-out by the prices PAID for the 'good' Rotaxes, is it?

Or are even the EXPERTS (like NJB) simply DAFT?
