Suits and helmets are a bad example the spec changes because the materials have a fixed life span......Can't see the issue with this thread the other driver was disqualified so didn't gain anything out of this other than a days racing and if as this thread implies he thrashed everyone then this is surely a good thing as he must have brought the standard of driving up as I'm sure everyone tried to keep up with him.

If he had used an illegal carb/engine etc then I would understand the complaint but if he stuffed everyone else with old kit then surely he is to be congratulated for good driving, seams more like sour grapes........
