Have we all lost our marbles here? No sense of proportion any more? Have any of you guys not heard how the youngsters talk amongst themselves these days?
I have an 8yr old daughter and every other word she utters is Weird!

You tell me what IS insulting or rude in Ian's original post I do not understand. The kid posted several individual questions/threads, didn't react to most of the detailed replies he got and then posts another one saying he's leaving now! Isn't that weird behaviour?

rotaxmsr... Ian didn't call him a weirdo, just said that he is being weird. Can't see what's rude or offensive about that. If anything, Jordan's behaviour is the least strange, if not weird.

My original post was meant to deflate whatever row was brewing by introducing some humour (in case you didn't notice NJB) and what do we get in return? ...

BTW NJB and other such itpro-bashers, I'm sure neither Ian, Alan, John, myself nor many others post here for the love of NJB's but for the love of Jordan's and other beginners who need help and coaching!

When they get it right they get praises, when they are being weird they are being told so. Nothing wrong with that. And I speak here as a parent as well as a kart racer!

IMHO of course.
