Hi, the difference between running the 3rd bearing loose and tight affects rear end grip levels, for example - running the bearing loose will loose u rear end grip by allowing the chassis to flex more, and by tightening it up it stiffens the chassis which then gives the rear more grip, and the people who dont use them atall ( like myself ) is generally the reason such as weight, and also tht they have found tht they never run the 4rd bearing tight atall so its no use, so they remove it.
