Nik has sort of come officialdom too! In this situation he was invited to to meetings and part of the officialdom! The meetings I attend are democracies and I also have an idea or something I believe in voted against but I don't give in or say I've been shot down! In fact although I wasn't at the meeting Nik was at in April I can't see any suggestion from him in the minutes (check it out for yourself they're a matter of public record) nor have I ever seen anyone shot down in any of the many many meetings I've attended! I've seen people disagree with other people, but that's what they're there for to debate ideas and vote on them!

The ABkC is more or less a democracy, if you don't like it's decisions vote a new Steering Group in, however I guess they'll carry on doing the sensible thing too!
