The practicalities of putting some of them into practice are almost impossible! Take your last idea, great in principle but what do you call a Team?
You and I are talking about something the size of JKH or Strawberry, but the reality is there are many much smaller teams where £500 per meeting wouldn't be any where near realistic! So how then do you define size of Team? It all starts to get too complicated and almost possible to police!
Don't believe me, well volunteer to collect Traders Fees and see how many Teams will actually pay?
I'd love to see your idea of using tyres over several meetings, BUT there is no way to police it that would bring the cost down! It has other problems too which could affect entry levels and and cost Clubs dearly!
I think the harder tyre has some mileage, but only if it works and it's tested thoroughly!
I think fixed gearing would work for a new class but not an established one, your basic idea only allows for your situation but would affect others adversely!
I have a great idea John, let's make all tyre suppliers sell tyres at £40 per set, that will reduce the costs! It's a great idea like yours are John, but like yours it's not practical, nor workable in real life!
