The theory looks ok, but working with them in practice is different and everything you propose we've tried and to date it hasn't had a desired effect! Yes it's worth looking at again, but I don't believe it to be the quick or cheap fix you think it is!

Some of your suggestions create problems for other aspects of the sport eg those trying to do the Championships cheaply your two different tyre suggestion will raise their costs dramatically! Your suggestion of fixing gearing will create problems for the heavier drivers struggling to meat the existing weights and the parce ferme suggestion has quite high cost implications in it's own right and could increase the cost of Club racing not reduce it!

The principle of cheaper racing is one I believe in and I like you believe the current costs far to high for all sorts of reasons, but I'm not convinced you have found the solutions having used all three!
