Would that be a kart with a third of the tyre costs and half the engine costs?

Yes we do, it’s the kart they already own with the cost reductions outlined above.

Then;

“I've been banging the drum now that we need a starter level class and I guess we'll only wake up to this fact when Club 100 and EasyKart thrive through the hard times with our ex members and we struggle! Tryo could be the answer but the MSA need to lift some of the restrictions and allow for Cadets too.”

I agree but first lets fix what we have in place already for the Club racer.

And finally you end with the doomsday scenario;

“I suspect whatever move is made now will be too little too late and without Pro Kart to save us like it did in the last recession the face of karting will change dramatically over the next 2 or 3 years.”

I fear you may be right, but if the ABkC and the MSA act now then the damage can be minimized.
