Your 'two karts' problem is fairly unique but it is also not 'fair' either. Have a look at almost EVERY other 'Rotax team'. How often do you see a LONE driver sitting in his kart with NO ONE around him??? That is VERY rare! Nobody TRUSTS that system, either, and most drivers much prefer to have a 'presence' with them on the lonely wait on the dummy!! There is ALWAYS (95% of the time) a 'crew' with the driver. They COULD press the starter button.

Excluding your specialised problem (two drivers), I STILL think you are wrong about the back injuries! I have done it WITH a bad back when I WAS racing and when I was the 'pusher'. You simply teach the driver HOW to run and jump!

However, you DID have a choice. If the TaG TKM becomes the 'norm', then 'us' 'hate TaG' people will have NO choice!
