I love the retro karts...reliving my youth.

Our first kart was a Zip Shadow with a Komet K88, in 1975. When we got a bit more serious we ran Parilla TT27 and SS20...great motors...We had 2 tuned by John Welstead (Ricard) and they were fantastic...and with our driver Mark Treadwell ( theres as name from the past) we had a huge amount of success.

If anyone has a parilla tt27 or ss20 for sale email me nevillecruttenden@yahoo.co.uk.

I think I will build an historic 70s kart and let Dan drive it, so he can see what real karting was all about:)
